Blessing a Home

By David G. Scott / Religious Demonologist

This is a subject that can be surprisingly complicated. I say that because most people truly don’t understand what is involved when it comes to blessing a home. First off, not just anyone can bless a home like some people would lead you to believe. Only the clergy or a Religious Demonologist has the right to bless a home, and can do it successfully. Now of course there are always going to be people that say they can do it whether they are clergy, R.D., or not. The fact of the matter is that anyone can do it, it just won’t work properly. Anyone can go through the motions of blessing a home. The problem is that they don’t really expel what is in the home. Usually they just make it worse.

It is also a sad fact that more and more paranormal groups out there try to bless the home of their client if they think it is necessary. This is not only a very bad idea; it is very foolish as well. I say that because it is not the job of the paranormal group to bless a home but to see if there is any paranormal activity in the home. Blessing a home is the job of the church and its designees. Blessing a home is a matter of spiritual warfare and you have to be properly trained for that.

If you aren’t trained correctly you will just cause more harm than good. The church knows how to do it correctly, most paranormal teams do not. If anyone from a paranormal team tells you that your home needs to be blessed, etc. and that they can do it you need to start asking some questions. First and foremost you need to ask them who on their team has been given the AUTHORITY to bless homes, who gave that person the authority, and who trained them? Always remember, this is your home that they are dealing with and you don’t want to let anyone make things worse. You have to stay, they get to leave.

Too many people, whether they are part of a paranormal team or not have tried to bless homes and they only made things worse. Demons can read people, so they know who’s a threat and who isn’t. I know of one case out west where a team of paranormal investigators went to investigate some claims of activity in a home and it turned out to be a demonic haunt. This team had two investigators that claimed to be psychic. Now, these two psychics had originally told the homeowners that they had a human spirit in their home when it was actually a demon. (A truly gifted psychic or medium can tell if something is demonic or not) To make a long story short they found out that it wasn’t a human spirit but instead a demon and tried to bless the home themselves. Not only did this not work but it also made things worse because another demon came into the picture. This is just an example of what can happen when the wrong people try to bless a home. To sum it all up, never let anyone from a paranormal team bless your home unless they are also clergy or a Religious Demonologist. Whenever you bless a home you need to do it properly. Part of doing it properly includes doing it at the right time, pace, and with the right equipment. When you bless a home you can go too far too fast if you’re not careful. That means that you can use the wrong type and strength of prayer as well as equipment at the wrong time.

It is always best to start out with the most basic prayer when you bless a home. This is because there are many prayers that you can use when you bless a home as well as things you can do between each blessing if needed. For example, after a home has been blessed but you continue to have activity (This can be a common occurrence if the demon is strong enough and you have used a very basic prayer) you could have a prayer group in your home to say prayers together, or you could have your Sunday school class meet for fellowship and Bible study at your house a few times, etc. You basically need to keep a good, positive atmosphere in your house at all times because this helps in repelling demons, and keeping them away. Demons are attracted to anything negative so you always want to do the opposite. If you’re living a good Christian lifestyle and or reading and quoting scripture, demons don’t want anything to do with that, they’ll stay as far away from it as possible.

The reason why I stated that you can go too far too fast when blessing a home is because a lot of times people have used the most powerful prayer they can the first time without thinking and it didn’t work. Now I know you’re probably thinking “Why didn’t it work?” It wouldn’t work if the demon has had “control” over that house or property for a long time and someone else had tried to bless the home several times before. That is one of the main reasons why it’s always wise to do property research if possible. That will tell you things like what happened there, how long ago it was, etc.

If a basic prayer has been performed and you have also had prayer meetings in your home, etc. but you still continue to have problems then you will go to the next level of blessings and do it again. Eventually the blessing will work and the demon will be expelled from the home. It’s all just a matter of doing the right thing at the right time and being patient. I know that can be an understatement if you’re the one in the home that needs blessing.

Just remember that faith, patients, and perseverance makes all the difference, and good will always win over evil in the end.

After the Blessing

By David G. Scott / Religious Demonologist

I decided to write this article because it is important to understand how a person or family should behave and conduct their lives after the house blessing is completed. What people do not realize is that a demon will “tell on you” if you are not doing what you should be after your home has been blessed. In my article “Blessing a Home” I make it very clear that people need to live a good, positive, Christian lifestyle once their home has been blessed. I say this because that is what it takes to keep a demon, or any demon out of a home, as well as from coming back once it has been expelled. If the person or family continues to live and do the things they did before it is very likely that the demon could return.

This is what I meant when I wrote that a demon will “tell on you”. If I go into a home and bless it I will always tell the person or people living there what they need to do next, and why. If they call me and say that everything was fine for a few weeks, etc. but now the activity is starting again and or getting worse then chances are they are not doing what I told them to. This may be on purpose, it may not. Some individuals truly don’t realize that they may be doing something they shouldn’t be. Others simply believe that it really won’t matter if they do continue to live how they use to no matter what they are told. Needless to say that it is this type of person that will learn the hard way.

Then there is the fact that most people will do exactly what they are told because they do not want the demon(s) to come back, but, there may be more than one demon in the home thus it needs to be blessed again. If this is the case then I will always tell the person that it’s not their fault that the demon is still there. As I have written in other articles, it may take several house blessings to expel the demon(s). No where is it written that only one demon will dwell in a home or place. There could very well be more than one demon in a home or place, thus the house or place in question could need to be blessed once for every demon that is there. In other words, if it is believed that there are four demons dwelling within a home then the home could need to be blessed four times. One time for every demon there is.

Every demonic case will be different. There may be one demon in one house, and three in another. Then there is the fact that some demons are stronger than others thus you may need to bless the home more than once to wear the demon down before it can be expelled. This is simply a battle of wills, and it could take a little longer to rid it from the home permanently. Any blessing is only as strong as the person’s faith that is performing it. It all depends upon the piousness of the person performing the blessing, and whether or not they are doing it with their whole heart. Always remember, blessing a home is a matter of spiritual warfare, and you must be trained in that. Otherwise, a person could very well make things worse, and they do not need to become part of an already major problem.

In conclusion, most house blessings are successful and the demon will not return if the person or family living there does what they are suppose to. If however a house blessing does not work the first or second time it was most likely anticipated, and a plan of action has already been conceived, thus assuring success in the near future.
